Kaffe and Philip, a perfect solution

Philip Jacobs-Fall 2011-Japanese Chrysanthemum

I’ve never been a big fan of brown. I know that not everyone is going to agree with me on this one, but whenever fall comes around I always get a little bummed because everyone starts wearing browns. A sea of people in brown is no fun, it’s way too drab. And then Kaffe Fassett and Philip Jacobs come around. The hues fall into a traditional fall palate but are pumped up with rich vibrant tones. A perfect way to have color in the fall.

Take a look for yourself.

See what I mean.

Though the colors are really vibrant they have rich undertones, unlike the prints you find in the summer that are clear and bright.

And if you were wondering “What do people use these for?” Well, I just so happen to be wearing a dress out of an old Philip Jacobs print. Oh yes, they are wearable.
